Windows on Science, Cambridge University

One of her most challenging commissions to date came when Gonville & Caius College, Cambridge University, chose Mara to honour the scientific achievements of its Nobel Prize winning Fellows. Here she was called upon to visually represent modern scientific discovery within the context of a tradional medieval Hall. That she has succeeded with striking elegance is self evident, she has created windows that are cool yet vivid, graphically impressive while totally scientifically accurate.
